Coffee is one of my favorite things, and I am loving this stamp set! It is the cutest little mini set by Gina K. Designs, called “Perfect Blend”. The greetings are darling, and the little images are so fun to color. Very trendy all around.

Isn’t it cute?!

Today is also the first day of Kathy Racoosin’s #thedailymarker30day challenge, which I am excited to be participating in for the first time! We will see how I do with keeping that up. Follow me on Instagram at @letteredandlovelydesigns to see my coloring posts. 🙂

The card I made using this set definitely took some time to color, but I have to admit it was pretty therapeutic. Colored pencils on Kraft is one of my absolute favorite ways to color! Prismacolor colored pencils are vibrant even without putting a white pencil layer down first. (I didn’t do that. Too much work. #lazy)

Here is the final colored panel! I am very into these fall jewel-toned colors lately. Here is a photo of the colored pencils that I used:

Because this card took some time to color, I didn’t want to cover it up with too big of a greeting! I chose the medium size, and made a little banner out of it. I originally used Gina K. Black Onyx ink for the greeting, but a very insightful co-worker told me I should emboss it in white. Loved the idea! It really made the greeting pop on my card.  Comment your thoughts!

Next step was to give both of my panels a colored border. I always like to include a colored border to bring out a color a little more. I chose Gina K. Tranquil Teal cardstock to bring out a bit more of that teal jewel-tone in the coloring.

For the banner, I just eye-balled the teal cardstock. I gave it the same 1/8″ border I gave the rest of the card.

And here it is! This is such a fun card to give to someone who is having a rough time as an invitation to go out to coffee and talk about it. ❤️

Thanks so much for stopping by! The products I used are linked below.
