I am so thrilled to be a part of another My Monthly Hero Kit by Hero Arts Blog Hop! The kit and all it’s add ons are live now on the Hero Arts website. I am so in love with this collection. The theme is Valentine’s Day with lots of floral elements that you can pair together to create a darling little flower shop. The add on products even have stamps for Galentine’s Day with cute greetings like, “Let’s do brunch!”.
This month’s kit contains a large 6″ x 8″ clear stamp set, 21 coordinating dies, an easel die with an inner board cut, 10 vellum envelopes for A2 cards, 20 1.5″ circle envelope seals with two different designs, 10 5.5″ x 8.5″ sheets of cardstock in red and pink, and one pink glimmer laquer.
The entire grouping of products is valued at $79.00, but the special kit value is $34.99. This kit is only available for a limited time, so get it while you can! Kits begin shipping on Friday, January 11th. Keep in mind that you can subscribe to this kit to My Monthly Hero Arts kits to make sure that you never miss out.

Isn’t this the cutest little flower shop? There are so many options with this stamp set with the variety of flowers and elements that you can use to build your flower shop. I cut my card base down a bit smaller than a regular A2 size card so that the flower shop frame would fit nicely. I also added some score lines to the card base to add a little interest. There was no room for a greeting on the front, and I didn’t want to distract from the cute little shop in any way.
The greetings in this set are in the sweetest script font, and there are many parts to the greetings that you can mix and match to make your own perfect greeting depending on how much space you have. I wanted a larger greeting, so I laid out these individual phrases and words in my MISTI before stamping them.
Pretty much every image has a die, so the little elements can be popped up for some dimension. I colored all of my images with Prismacolor colored pencils before cutting them out.
I just had to make a mini card with these flowers. (It’s not really ‘mini’, but it is a bit smaller than an A2.) I scored my kraft background panel and wrapped some pink twine around. I popped up the scalloped panel and also my little flowers in their pots. I think this would be such a fun Valentine to mass produce for work friends (with a different greeting).
These are the add-ons for the January kit. They can be purchased individually or as one big bundle. You might as well get the bundle because they are all awesome!
This card uses the heart set that is in the add-on collection. I wanted to create a card that was simple and classic Valentine’s Day-ish, so I used hearts and pink, and I added some sparkle. (My lighting was so bad when I took these… It was so cloudy outside!)
These heart designs are so much fun, and I love that one of them has a large open space for a greeting. This card was simple enough to quickly whip up in a hurry.
Fruit! I love fruit stamps. I don’t know why… I don’t even eat that much fruit. These fruits are part of two different add-on sets in the collection. I thought I would combine them all for a fun fruity mix. I stamped the circle citrus fruit and slice of citrus fruit many times over the card panel and colored them in with Prismacolor colored pencils. I made lemons, oranges, and limes by adjusting my colored pencil. You could even expand the possibilities with grapefruit or blood oranges!
Coloring this was so relaxing as I watched YouTube crafty videos one night. If you don’t have a lot of time to sit and color an entire piece, color while watching a movie, tv show, or YouTube! Gets two things done! If you count watching tv getting something done. I do sometimes.
I hope you enjoyed this bit of inspiration! For more, keep clicking through the hop below. Make sure you comment on each of the blogs for a chance to be entered in a giveaway to win your very own Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Kit for January. Good luck!
